BT joins Black Friday Sale offers with 3 months free broadband
BT has joined the Black Friday sale club and it is one of the better offers with the ￡9.99 or ￡19.99 upfront cost on its broadband products removed and the first 3 months of service are free. The free broadband offer applies to ADSL2+, FTTC, G.fast and FTTP products.
For the 55/10 and 80/20 products which are provided by FTTC or FTTP if its available the BT Reward Cards that are commonly available remain with values of ￡60 and ￡100 respectively. The three services we suspect that will be the most popular are:
- BT Fibre 1 with 50 Mbps average download speed and 9 Mbps upload. ￡26.99/m on a 24 month contract. With the 3 months free and ￡60 reward card taken into account the monthly equivalent is ￡21.12/m
- BT Fibre 2 with 68 Mbps average speed and 19 Mbps upload. ￡31.99/m on a 24 month contract. With the 3 months free and ￡100 reward card the monthly equivalent is ￡23.82/m
- BT Fibre 100 based on the 160 Mbps down and 30 Mbps upload FTTP or G.fast product is ￡39.99 on a 24 month contract. With the 3 months free the monthly equivalent price is ￡34.99/m.
The BT Black Friday Sale deals are running until 30th November 2020.
Of course there are other providers out there and in Openreach FTTP areas Sky with its Ultrafast 1 service at ￡35/m does seem to be popular.?
The summary of the main broadband offers is as always on our offer page.
